The hiring challenges at a growing company

Reedhima Mishra, the Head of Human Capital at SustLabs, says that the company is constantly hiring and it can be very tiring:

  • She is the sole person responsible for recruiting in a rapidly expanding company.
  • They hire for various roles across technical and non-technical sectors, as the team’s requirements constantly evolve.
  • A key problem is that hiring managers are also functional heads or co-founders, leading to a loss of time and resources during the hiring process. They lack the capacity to interview many candidates and then select the best ones.

How Babblebots helped SustLabs hire better

Reedhima advocates that Babblebots’ key feature is the ability to customize interviews and track candidates’ progress. “I can use the Babblebots platform to screen candidates from the first round and track them all the way to the offer letter stage. I’m aware of which candidates are in round 2, which people are rejected, which candidates are not interested and those who have been offered the position. All this information is easily available to me on the dashboard,” she states.

Babblebots’ process is innovative due to its AI-matching technology that shortlists candidates based on the job description provided and the customer’s criteria. She’s used Babblebots to assess mostly technical candidates, and the combination of subjective long-form questions and multiple-choice questions gives her a strong indication of a candidate’s skills.

“This ‘tech assessment’ coupled with other criteria I had set has enabled me to speak to only the best candidates instead of everyone on my list,” she explains.

SustLabs achieves a 99% boost with Babblebots’ AI Matching

SustLabs’ incredible Return on Investment (ROI)

SustLabs’ machine learning interview campaign was a huge success, with 28 out of 42 candidates submitting interviews. 23 of the candidates who responded, submitted their interviews within 2 days of the invites being sent out. Reedhima then shortlisted 7 well-qualified candidates.

The web developer interview process was a huge success, with 109 out of 181 candidates responding to the outreach and the company was able to shortlist 12 top-notch candidates. Reedhima reported that by utilizing the Babblebots platform, she was able to fill this position within a day. Right from inviting, testing, and shortlisting the candidate, it took her just 24 hours to hire!

Reedhima states that during her last hiring campaign, she devoted only 6 hours to hiring.
